Cretan IAMA Olvos Science is the result of many years of research by distinguished researchers of the Medical School of the University of Crete who transformed indigenous knowledge into essential knowledge, in collaboration with Olvos Science, a subsidiary of the Greek pharmaceutical company Galenica.
Cretan IAMA is a natural preparation that contains essential oils of three Cretan herbs. Thyme (Coridοthymus Capitatus), sage (Salvia Fruticosa) and dittany (Origanum Dictamnus), in specific proportions, which work synergistically. These three herbs contain dozens of essential oils, many of which are found in all three herbs.
The essential oils of these 3 herbs in soft capsule form are dissolved in extra virgin olive oil.
It is clinically tested and the results of the study were published in 2015 in the prestigious scientific journal Journal of Ethnopharmacology.
Cretan IAMA Olvos Science was started, researched, completed and produced entirely in Greece and is patented worldwide.
WHAT DOES IT CONTAIN;
Through many years of testing, the research team was led to a combination of essential oils from 3 aromatic herbs, Coridοthymus Capitatus, Salvia Fruticosa and Origanum Dictamnus, in specific proportions, showing elements not just of cumulative action, but real synergy, that is, action significantly greater than the sum of the actions of the simple ingredients, as one substance complements and / or enhances the action of the other.
This combination was patented internationally.The essential oils of the 3 aromatic herbs in the form ofa soft capsule are dissolved in extra virgin olive oil.
WHO PARTICIPATED IN ITS DEVELOPMENT?
The development of Cretan IAMA involved a team of researchers such as the distinguished professors of the University of Crete Christos Lionis, Professor of General Medicine and P.F.Y.,Elias Kastanas, Professor of Laboratory Endocrinology, Stergios Pyrintsos. Associate Professorof Biology and George Sourvinos, Professor of Clinical Virology as well as their collaborators.
HOW IS QUALITY ASSURED?
For its production, the identification of plant material is followed by genetic analysis (DNA-Barcoding), as well as high-tech methods (gas chromatograph in combination with mass spectrometer) are used to ensure its composition in essential oils.

DOSAGE
2 soft capsules daily, single or morning – evening, for at least 1 week.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADMINISTRATION
It is taken with the help of water or other liquid, regardless of food. It can be given to children over 12 years of age who have the ability to swallow the capsule.
